In partnership with Ghana Health Service professionals, we delivered interactive educational sessions that transformed how these school communities understand and approach menstruation. Our programme isn’t just about education; it also provides reusable sanitary pads and disposable ones for areas with water shortages, along with helpful materials on menstrual care.
What makes our approach unique is that we involve boys in the conversation. By having them as supporters, we create a space where menstruation is discussed openly and stigma-free.
With Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025 coming up, we’re more committed than ever to breaking the silence, ending shame, and promoting dignified menstrual health for everyone.
The foundation continues to work with school authorities to develop sustainable solutions, including improved WASH facilities and establishing a system for ongoing product distribution to ensure long-term impact beyond the initial intervention.
