We are delighted to announce that our Advocacy and Engagement Lead, Development Strategist, and other members of the Starlight Foundation team are representing our organisation at the United Nations Second World Summit for Social Development, currently taking place in Doha, Qatar. This landmark conference holds profound significance for world leaders and all attendees, marking 30 years since the inaugural summit in Copenhagen in 1995.
The Summit convenes heads of state, changemakers, policy leaders, government officials, and global stakeholders to recommit to the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and its Programme of Action, whilst addressing the social development gaps that have emerged over the past three decades.
Starlight is honoured to participate in this historic gathering, which presents a valuable opportunity for us to engage with fellow changemakers about our work in social development. This experience offers tremendous learning and growth opportunities that we believe will significantly benefit our work in Ghana, as we continue impacting, transforming, and revitalising communities.
