Who We Are

Starlight Foundation is a reputable Ghanaian registered community-based nonprofit organization which seeks to create an enabling environment where street-connected children can be empowered to attain an enhanced life and promising future by holistically focusing on their lifestyle, addressing their concerns and generating opportunities that are constructive to their overall well-being and self-sufficiency.

Access to quality education is one of our key objectives for street-connected children which we do in partnership with some reputable and reliable institutions. Those interested in learning a trade or vocation are not left out of the equation taking into account their age.

The Foundation also provides public education on streetism to help create awareness of the dangers of streetism and to provide a better means of ending the problem in Ghana.

Our Mission

Quality Education

Every child aim at developing a balanced set of capabilities they require to become economically productive, develop sustainable livelihoods in society.

Youth Empowerment

Empowering young people means creating and supporting the enabling conditions under which they can act on their behalf, and on their terms to realize their full potentials.

Caring for the Old

Something to remember is that caring for elderly people shouldn't be a burden but a responsibility society needs to bear.

Good Healthcare

Good Healthcare is a level of value provided as determined by some measurement. It is the degree to which health care services for individuals increase the likelihood of desired health outcomes.

Access to clean water

Access to safe water and sanitation can quickly turn problems into potential – empowering people with time for school and work, and contributing to improved health for women, children, and families around the world.

Supporting the needy

It is not just about helping poor but also about saving kids and adults from choosing ways which are unethical. A number of criminals forced were forced to do what is illegal and harmful for others.

Our Vision

Building a world of Hope in which every child/youth can grow up safe, in Good Health, and to its Full Potential without any Threats.

We are hoping to come up with projects and programmes that will directly or indirectly benefit over 10,000 children and their families every year. Some of it will focus on education, healthcare, and women empowerment, in selected remote villages and slums across Ghana.
